They have some of most unique 🌶️ including “lemon drop” which has a citrusy, fiery note with explosive flavor. So tasty in place of hot sauce with your favorite foods or as a garnish to any dish.

Contrary to its name (little tomato), a tomatillo is NOT a tomato. Although they are in the same family and look almost identical they each have varying qualities and flavors. Tomatillos are more firm in texture and taste more acidic, whereas green tomatoes are softer and sweeter when ripened. Can you tell which one is which?

The firm texture tomatillos carry through peak ripeness makes it an ideal fruit to pickle. We are experimenting with these in fun ways and finding out what a versatile fruit it is!

Always seasonal & small batch with a lot of 🫶🏼. We are officially waiting til next summer to bring back the spicy pickled watermelon and will keep the mango around as long as quality 🥭s are available. We will also be moving into some fun pickles for the fall which are still in the R&D process so stay tuned!

It all started by planting seeds in the garden and on harvesting day we picked our veggies, washed and chopped, and turned them into jars of pickles to share with loved ones. Amazing to see kids create the connection from farm to jar. Truly inspiring to be a part of this experience.

Pickled Green Mango Fundraiser for wildfire relief available at our farmers markets until the end of the month. 100% of proceeds will benefit the Pasadena Humane Wildfire Emergency Fund to cover critical expenses like medical care and supplies for every animal brought in. They are doing incredible work to care for and save these animals’ lives 💛.

Every step of the process is carefully thought out starting from the way each veggie is hand packed into our containers and jars. When we layer the cucumbers it’s not quite as easy as throwing them in. We need to lay them flat and create a flower shape in order to close the lid without crushing the cukes and fill up the space. When we say “made with love” it starts at the very beginning and bleeds into every step of the process. 🥒💚

IN A PICKLE started with a dream to bring more joy by offering a healthier, hand-crafted pickle option. Pickles can be so satisfying when done right. Because we value

your well being each jar is made with wholesome

ingredients and produce from local, sustainable farmers.

We take pride in using a variety of unique produce. Each veggie is hand-picked and cut, stored in a 5-hour ice bath, and preserved in a near 20 ingredient brine to create the best product possible. Our pickles are packed with nutritious benefits because we believe how we take care of ourselves directly attributes to how we nurture the world around us. We strive to always pay it forward by donating a portion of our proceeds to non-profits because our love for helping

others outweighs our love for pickles.

And by we I mean I. I am a one-woman operation on a mission

My obsession for pickles got me here today. I'll admit it. I'm a pickle fiend. I can't imagine life without 'em. They're crunchy, refreshing, and best of all nutritious. I'm a firm believer in the power of good produce (and people) and am honored to share my journey with you. I hope to inspire other entrepreneurs to keep doing what you love and share your passion with the world. When I’m not pickling you can find me teaching yoga to kids/adults, being a cat mom to Dill, Pepper, & Sage, and making a big mess in the kitchen. Welcome home, mi casa es su casa.
